hp dvd writer 400c updates
I have an HP DVD writer 400c and cant burn onto dvd-r?
I torrent movies and shows and bought a 50 stack of dvd-r discs. When i pull up record now or any other burning/converter software and try to burn the files it says please insert a blank or rewritable dvd+rw into the driver. Does that mean it cant read dvd-r and if so is there an update i can get so it can. -___-
Some thing tells me you have posted the wrong dvd burner name or youd have alot more answers.
I would advise you to check hp website and see if there’s a firmware update(which when I type in you dvd burners name doesn’t exist or is discontinued) It will tell you the date and if any benefits before you download. Also when you try to run the firmware it will tell you the version that you have and if its the same ,you can quit the update.
Theres always the chance that a dvd burner will not do dvd-r, so maybe return the unused dvd’s and try dvd+r’s. If that fails call HP complain(if its recently new) and maybe they can arrange a replacement.
